Lynco Financial & Tax Services Inc. is a full service Accounting and Tax preparation firm located between Tampa and Orlando (Central Florida) in Winter Haven, Florida. Through Lynn, we also provide additional Financial Services (more information is available by visiting http://www.LyncoFinancial.net) . Lynn has been offering her services to clients for over three decades now, first located in the New York/New Jersey area and then relocating to central Florida in 1993. In 2010, Lynn celebrated her 30th year in the tax business! (My, how time flies when you are having fun!.....we love what we do!)
We specialize in income tax preparation and planning for individuals, small and medium size businesses, trusts and estates. As an Enrolled Agent, Lynn also offers tax representation services.
Enrolled Agents (EAs) are federally licensed tax practitioners who have demonstrated technical competence in tax law and are the only taxpayer representatives licensed to practice by the United States government.
Only EAs, Attorneys and CPAs may represent taxpayers without limitation before the IRS. EAs advise and represent taxpayers before the IRS who are being examined, taxpayers who are unable to pay, and taxpayers who wish to avoid or recover penalties.
EAs prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts and any other entities with tax-reporting requirements. Unlike Attorneys and CPAs, who may or may not choose to specialize in taxes, all EAs specialize in taxation and are required by the federal government to maintain their professional skills with continuing professional education.
We proudly perform all of our tax and accounting services in our office in Winter Haven. We do not outsource any of our client's important and confidential information and we stand behind the quality of our services.
We welcome new clients and thank you for visiting our website. It has been designed to share information about the firm, our staff, the services we offer and to be a helpful resource tool for our clients, friends and visitors to our site.

Paul Utter | Accounting Manager
Paul joined our team back in 2011, becoming a great asset to this firm. Just recently, he has become a Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP) with the IRS, passing the exam administered by the United States Treasury Dept. Paul graduated from Webber International University in Babson Park, FL with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with Honors. Paul worked full-time in the Human Resources department at Wal-Mart Distribution Center while earning his degree. Paul is happy to be pursuing his career in tax and accounting services with Lynco Financial & Tax Services. As an accounting and tax professional, he is committed to asking questions, providing thoughtful and accurate service, and making sure the client understands as much as possible about accounting and tax issues that impact their own tax and financial life. Paul is happily married to his wife, Amy. Together, they love taking their two dogs on walks, cooking meals, and even reading together. Paul is a member of two softball teams in Winter Haven, FL and is an active member in the community working to raise contributions for various charities, including the Children's Miracle Network.
Paul is excited about joining the Lynco Financial & Tax Services staff and looks forward to getting to know the clients that we serve..
Babs Butler | Office Manager

Babs joined the staff at Lynco Financial & Tax Services as the office manager in January 2000. Babs sometimes refers to herself as the "chief cook and bottle washer". She has held various positions during her working career as a secretary, bookkeeper and customer service manager. She is definitely a people person.
Babs also migrated to Florida from New Jersey. She was an avid bowler for more than 50 years and played softball up until the time she moved to Florida. She also served on the board of directors as Treasurer of the Bergen County (NJ) Women’s Bowling Association. Babs also roller skated for years and competed in the areas of racing, dance and free-style.
Babs says that one of her most proud accomplishments is "being the mother of Lynn Schmidt". We are all very happy to have Babs as part of our team. Lynn is PROUD to have Babs as part of our team and says that "Babs is the one who holds all the pieces together for all of us on a day-to-day basis and helps keep all of us on track".
After ten years of dedicated service to our clients, Babs has "unofficially" retired. We say "unofficially", because being the great person and (mom) that she is, she has agreed to come back and help us out at various times and especially during tax season. Lynn is very thankful to have such a wonderful mom and we are thankful for whatever time she can contribute to our team.
